Tredozio is a hidden gem nestled among the hills of the Tramazzo valley, a village that holds centuries of history and enchants anyone who visits. Strolling through its alleys, you can still breathe in the medieval air, filled with mystery, intrigues, and the great personalities who have shaped its events. One of the historical monuments is the Ponte di San Donato Modigliana, also known as the Ponte della Signora, a medieval-style donkey-back bridge with three arches, the central one being particularly wide and tall. It was built on the ruins of an ancient Roman bridge, which was destroyed by a flood in 1640.
Tredozio is not just about history and culture; it is also the perfect place for those who love good food! It's impossible to resist the bartolaccio (a flat tortello filled with potatoes and pancetta) or the fusaja, a sweet biscuit with a delicate aniseed flavor. In this village, you can still taste authentic products that tell the story of the region’s traditions.
In recent years, Tredozio has become a popular retreat destination, establishing a sports tourism center called Le Volte, offering accommodations and access to affiliated sports facilities.
