It is a summer tourist location thanks to its position, open and panoramicFrom the Belvedere terrace, which overlooks the huge "Sasso di Rocca" boulder, and which rises in the upper part of the most substantial village, it is possible to enjoy the view of one of the most enchanting panoramas of the Bolognese Apennines.Particularly suggestive is the old part of Gaggio Montano, perched around the majestic stone that symbolizes the town, with narrow streets and ancient buildings including Casa Tanari, Palazzo Pasi, the elegant arch on the access door to the "Sasso di Rocca", and the underlying ancient village remained intact over time.

Gaggio Montano, municipality of the Bolognese Apennines, is located at 680 m above sea level. In the years before the Great War, Gaggio, governed by a Catholic-inspired junta, had schools, a kindergarten, a library and was connected to the capital with the provincial road and the Porrettana railway.

Available and within walking distance: Swimming pool, Volleyball/Basketball arena and multifunctional center for sports and conferences.
